HIRED!

A Fourth Actor Plays William “Husker” Adama!

Luke Pasqualiano, who is best know for playing Freddy Mclair in Series 3 and 4 of Skins, has signed on to Syfy’s third Battlestar series, Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome as William Husker Adama, previously played by Edward James Olmos in the flagship series, Marcus Towfigh on Caprica and Nico Cortez in the Razor Flashback mini-sodes. He joins previously cast Ben Cotton (Hellcats and Harper’s Island, below) as Coker, the series other lead and Adama’s superior.

Syfy’s official statement says: Pasqualino will star as the young, talented fighter pilot William Adama, a recent Academy graduate who finds himself assigned to the newest Battlestar in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with Coker (Cotton), the battle-weary officer to whom he reports. With 45 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine mission turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.

The series, which takes place 40 years before BSG, begins with a two hour outing later this year. UK Skin’s fan? How does this casting sit with you?

**Spoilers about UK Skin’s 4th Series**

Pasqualiano had the fortune(?) of getting to die in one of the most chilling death scenes of 2010. I’ve embedded it below.
