Asides from the ending of Smallville, there are a few things on including the season finales of CSI:NY and Blue Bloods. I didn’t want to include them with Smallville lest someone steal its thunder. Here are our other non-Superman related recommendations for tonight, Friday May 13, 2011.
Season Seven Finale Alert!
CSI: NY “Exit Strategy” 9:00 on CBS
Following a near death experience Mac is determined to solve the one unsolved case of his career. OMG remember when Providence was on this?
First Season Finale Alert!
Blue Bloods “The Blue Templar” 10:00 on CBS
Blue Bloods, though mostly a procedural/family show has one ongoing story arc/mystery that may get resolved tonight. Joe, the second youngest Reagan was killed prior to the series start, and when Jamie (Will Estes) joined up he started investigating his brother’s involvement with a secret police society called the Blue Templar and how that lead to his death. Tonight all this comes to a head as the Reagan family takes the investigation into their own hands.
Camelot “The Long Night” 10:00 on Starz
Morgan throws a feast for Arthur and his knights at Castle Pendragon, but chaos erupts when the castle comes under attack. Morgan and Arthur unite their men, but Merlin believes something more dubious is afoot. I have a feeling that tonight’s episode will be better than the previous few which were stale with inactivity and trite dialogue. But as long as Eva Green continues to vamp up the screen I’ll be there.
Flashpoint 8:00 on CBS – I watched them film this when I was stuck in traffic last summer. I called out star Enrico Colantoni’s name and he waved to me. KEITH MARS WAVED TO ME!
Shark Tank 8:00 on ABC – Second season finale. But if you count alll the season of shows this one ripped off (Dragon’s Den) it’s like the season 30 finale.
Friday Night Lights 8:00 on NBC – Tonight NBC airs episode 5, “Kingdom.”
The Soup 10:00 on E! – Now that Community’s done for the season get your weekly McHale fix here.
Real Time with Bill Maher 10:00 on HBO – Sometimes I think that Bill Maher and Arianna Huffington secretly do it. They’re chemistry is off the charts.
