SNL Preview!

Anne Hathaway hosts SNL tonight! She’s got great comic timing, so let’s see/hope/pray that the writers give her decent material. Also we haven’t seen Gilly or Target lady in a while so look for Kristen Wiig to proabably pull one out. Here is a link to the promos that NBC won’t let me embed.

SNL Promo: Anne Hathaway.

Last week with ScoJo I predicted singing, and I predict it again (I have a soft spot for a little movie called Ella Enchanted – so I know Anne Hathway does a decent cover of Somebody to Love)

Speaking of singing tonight the Musical Guest is the incredible Florence and the Machine. I hope they use Florence Welch in a skit or digital short. Here’s their song “You’ve Got the Love”

On tap for December is Robert DeNiro who has Little Fockers coming out; Paul Rudd who’s got the James L. Brooks film, How Do You Know; and Jeff Bridges does double duty promoting Tron Legacy and True Grit.

Press Release Below!

Upcoming Shows:
December 4 – Robert De Niro / Diddy-Dirty Money
December 11 – Paul Rudd / Paul McCartney
December 18 – Jeff Bridges / Eminem

New York, NY – November 18, 2010 – “Saturday Night Live” returns with three star-studded back-to-back shows starting December 4 with Robert De Niro and musical guest Diddy-Dirty Money.

Academy Award winner Robert De Niro makes his third appearance as host. De Niro will next be seen in “Little Fockers,” the follow-up to the hit films “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers,” which opens December 22.

Diddy-Dirty Money (comprised of group members Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kalenna Harper, and Dawn Richard) will make their first appearance as musical guest. The group’s debut album, “Last Train To Paris,” will be released on December 14 on Bad Boy Records/Interscope Records.

Paul Rudd returns for his second time as host on December 11. Rudd will next be seen in “How Do You Know” with Jack Nicholson and Reese Witherspoon, which hits theaters on December 17.

Paul McCartney will appear for his third stint as musical guest. The legendary musician is stopping by SNL in the wake of the deluxe reissue of “Band on the Run.”

Jeff Bridges takes on hosting duties for the second time on December 18. Hot off his Academy Award win this year, Bridges can be seen in “TRON: Legacy” with Olivia Wilde on December 17, and alongside Matt Damon in Joel & Ethan Coen’s “True Grit” on December 22.

Eminem will make his fifth appearance as musical guest alongside Lil Wayne, who returns for the second time. The two will take the stage to perform the single “No Love” off Eminem’s double platinum album “Recovery” together, and a song off of each of their current albums individually.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
