Happy Humpday Boils and Ghouls! For those of you contemplating suicide because Modern Family is a repeat tonight, The TVocrats have enough snuff to stuff in your pipe, you’ll be smokin’ for hours. Here are our recommendations for tonight, Wednesday November 10th, 2010.
Survivor “Running the Camp” 8:00 on CBS
This season sits somewhere in the middle for me, it’s definetly not a bore like Thailand, but i’s no Samoa either. That being said my only real gripe is that people are playing really passively, trying their best not to rock the boat. I’m still waiting for Brenda to make a real move instead of telling people how to procure idols. She does for other people what Russell did for himself. Jane all the way! EW’s resident Survivor guru Dalton Ross has a sweet video where Probst talks about his favorite tribal council ever. The tribal is in its entirety below!
South Park “Coon vs. Coon & Friends” 10:00 on Comedy Central
Tonight’s penultimate Season 14 episode has The Coon and Cthulu battling Coon and Friends in part 3 (consecutive, there are 4, the first part aired in season 13) of their Dark Knight Parody/BP oil spill skewering. I loved the last two, I especially thought Kenny’s realization about his secret powers (spoiler alert: He can’t die) was hilarious. I love when loyal viewers are rewarded by a series for their commitment (like now with Paul Young on Desperate Housewives). Here’s a Coon related clip!
Psych “Extradition II: The Actual Extradition Part” 10:00 on USA
Psych returns tonight. And it has Shawn and Gus visiting my homeland no less! Finally. I was very close to gouging out my eyeballs with a melon-baller. If I can’t watch Psych, I’ll watch nothing. Tonight’s episode, a follow up to the season 4 premiere; “Extradition: British Columbia”, has Cary Elwes returning as deboniare art theif, Pierre Despereaux who seeks out Shawn and Gus’ help when he’s framed for the murder of a Crown Attorney (That’s Assistant District Attorney in Canadian). Here are outtakes from “Extradition: British Columbia”
and a promo for tonight!
That was the tops, now here’s the Drops:
Hell’s Kitchen 8:00 and 9:00 on FOX – Chef Ramsey returns after a baseball induced hiatus to yell and scream and bitch and whine and intimidate.
Criminal Minds 9:00 on CBS – Robert Knepper (T-Bag from Prison Break) guest stars tonight as no doubt, a serial killer. Perfect role for him. I’m super stoked to see his T-Bag character returnto TV on A&E’s Breakout Kings.
Hellcats 9:00 on CW – New BFF’s Marti and Savannah have a fight which leads Savannah to rebond with her family and Marti to delve into Travis’ case. Add more characters please, it’s starting to feel incestous with only 5 cast members.
Country Music Awards 8:00 – 11:00 on ABC – The reason Modern Family is absent is because Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have a lot of awards to give out. I’m not a country fan (except for this), but I suppose to each their own.
That’s the haps for today.
